ES Keramik shape 683 or 883 with green glaze Description: This
shape 683/883
pitcher/vase is one of the top forms produced by ES Keramik. The handle
gives it a modern element, but the clean lines are right out of the
Bauhaus and Arts & Crafts traditions. The glaze manages to be
organic and geometric at the same time. This form was originally
marked as shape 683, but in 1960 or 61, ES decided to number all
handled items in the 800 series. It's not clear whether the first
number on this one is a 6 or an 8, but the glaze suggests it dates
right around the time the numbering changed. (Best guess is that it's
883.)Condition: excellent with no damage and no repairs. Of course, all our sales are fully guaranteed. Form Number: 683 or 883 Height is about 9".  Price:
