(GINny and FORrest Poston's Oddities and Antiques)
Item: AP-8
This folk art floor vase/pitcher was made in a traditional style in the Spanish village of Puente Arzobispo in 1956 and bears the artist/potter's mark. Unfortunately, I've been told that the number of potters there over the years makes identifying this mark rather problematic. The decoration is done in dark green with a metallic sheen and bold black outlining. Height is about 13 1/2".
Condition is very good with just one small glaze flake on the rim (as pictured in the full shot).
