Sooner or later, every word that comes into the English language gets "Anglicized", but people also ask me about the Germanic pronunciation of the W. German pottery companies.  The truth is that I have no idea on most of them....but I know people who do.

Whether a person uses the Germanic or Anglicized pronunciation, and with whatever accent isn't necessarily important, but we do need to have some idea what the variations are just so we'll have a common "language" that helps us understand each other even when we use the language differently.

I'm intentionally not using standard phonetic spellings or most symbols since those are something of a language all their own.  Instead, I'm trying to create versions I hope everyone will recognize.  (Or using such versions sent to me by others.)
